Loved the narrators

The great narrators for this audiobook are Duncan Prescott and Lessa Lamb. This is a very entertaining football themed second chance romance. The narrators were great as Bryce and Lucy. Lessa Lamb is one of my favorite female voices. The emotions they brought to these characters were so intense. Bryce was Lucy’s high school sweetheart, her first love. But he had big ambitions of being a football star. And when he makes it big he realizes the only thing he wants is his lost love. Will Lucy trust him enough for a second chance? This is a wonderful story that I definitely recommend listening to.

Brenna💘Cole! Fabulous Story & Narration🎧

Another fabulous novel written by Chelle Sloan, a forbidden best friend’s sister sports romance that captivates your attention completely and tugs at your heartstrings too. Cole Campbell and Bryce Donald have been best friends for years, and have played football together, even joining the same professional team, The Nashville Fury. Cole has always felt a connection to Bryce’s twin sister, Brenna, but she was off-limits, something all of Bryce’s teammates should know, though it was never said directly to Cole, since he assumed Brenna was like a sister to him too. That may have been the case when they were younger, but his feelings towards her turned into something more, though never acted on those feelings. Brenna felt like she was losing her spunk, so she went out on a date with another of Bryce’s teammates who broke that unwritten rule, and when she realized how much of a jerk he was, she called Cole to come and get her, and it was not the first time she did that either. Despite the undeniable chemistry between them, Cole resisted crossing that line until both of them could no longer deny their feelings. It was great watching these two first fight their feelings and then give in to their desires. Their biggest hurdle was her brother, but they wanted to wait until after he was back from his honeymoon to let him know. Bryce did not take the news well at all, and his anger hurt them both, and it spilled into the locker room and game, too. This cleverly crafted, multi-layered story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions, and a slow-burn, but so worth the wait romance. As always, the writing, plot, and world-building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Chelle Sloan, thank you for this fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Caitlyn Olive and Colt Carter were fantastic at voicing the characters and delivering a perfect portrayal of each. Carter nailed it as Cole, grasping every aspect of his personality and demeanor perfectly. Olive did the same as Brenna and was just as fabulous at showcasing her personality. They set the ideal tone for the story, conveyed all the characters’ emotions, and had you feeling them all. These two are a great narration team, with voices that complement each other and a captivating performance that keeps you hooked to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

So sweet! Addictive series...

I’ve been loving this series, and this one might be the best yet—oh the drama! And the hilarious ‘bad dates’ series …

Loved all the drama, sorta hated Bryce a bit—he acts like a total villain about something that technically isn’t even any of his business. I enjoyed his book but don’t exactly love him, I guess? And I love this series for making me think about these dynamics this much 😂.
