When he begins recalling the events which led him to Death Row, a tale of a man trying to redeem himself through one selfless act emerges. But in a noir world where fate has the last laugh, whether his one good thing will be enough to save him is unclear. The second in the Noir Shots series is a homage to the great Cornell Woolrich, in both its soft-boiled sentimentality, and its acceptance that fate will always have the final word.
