Voz Virtual es una narración generada por computadora para audiolibros..

What will it take for a clueless computer genius to notice the caring woman at the desk beside him? Will he solve the case before someone dies?

She has loved him since the day he hired her.

Unable to avoid her feelings for her boss, Annie’s about to quit the job she loves. But an unexpected call from Jack’s estranged, successful surgeon father upends Annie’s plan and Jack’s life. He wants nothing to do with his father.

But with Jack’s record with successful cyber security, he’s the man for the job. Jack wants to refuse. But Annie insists it’s a business decision. Secretly she believes Jack needs to face his father. This might crack open the “firewall” around his emotions.

Will he catch the hacker in time?

The cyber attacks increase possible danger to patients and their care. What if medicines are altered or given to the wrong patient? Lives are at stake. Will Jack stop the hacker and finally let God help him realize that Annie is a treasure who’s been in front of him all along? From a Carol Award–winning author, a heart-warming, clean and wholesome Christian romance with a mystery.

Witty, uplifting romance with computer intrigue

I love Annie and Jack. Annie gains confidence and Jack learns to truly forgive in this well-written book… I was engaged in this story from page one. If you enjoy clean romance with some mystery, do not miss this book.”

“Learning to forgive and love

What a great start to this new Opposites Attract series. I loved it. It is not only the love story of Annie and Jack, but a mystery that keeps you guessing until the end who the computer hacker is…You will love this book, and I look forward to the rest of the books in this series. Lyn Cote is one of my favorite authors and well worth your time to read her books.”

I did not like the virtual voice. No change in voice. Very dry no infliction in voice

This is a book about resentment and bitterness. I like this story about a man who seems to be “on the spectrum.” He has difficulty communicating because his brain doesn’t work like most people’s. He also struggled with resentment towards his father. His character is really well written because it is understandable why he fixates on hating his father so much and doesn’t pay attention to others’ needs while avoiding interpersonal social interactions. His autism or communicative disorder is not overtly discussed, but it is implied as a kind of trait of his genius. Even at the end after he comes to his epiphany, the way he has to think things through before speaking shows his brain us wired differently.

There is a little plot twist at the end when his mother reveals something surprising. Readers / listeners will have to ask themselves who is the real villain in Jack’s family.

I really liked the way the story ended, though with his mother’s reveal, one wonders why Cote didn’t have Jack feel resentful towards her as well. The way he came to his epiphany at the end was amazing, though. Cote layers the theme within the story using several relationships and characters making this a truly well-writing book. She uses interesting and humorous scenes showing Jack’s personality and quirky nature. Most female readers will know why Annie loves him and also why he breaks her heart sometimes.

Most of us complain about Virtual Voice, but this feature can help those with eyesight or reading disabilities. The interpretation is pitiful, but the words are there making them accessible to some who otherwise would not be able to read it. This is one book that a narrator should read, though. I think a good one would bring out the humorous nature of Jack’s character.
