This is a short story.

As far as Sylvie Johnson is concerned, her ex-husband used her and left her, and she cannot stand the sight of him. Fifteen years after their divorce, her feelings haven’t changed. She wants nothing to do with him, no matter what her beating heart suggests.

Oscar Brooks has always assumed that his ex-wife hates him, but after an unplanned kiss, he’s not so sure. Why does she always have such a hostile response to his presence? Is it love, or is it hate? He’s determined to find out.

Sylvie is a trip

Sylvie has to be the snootiest person I’ve ever encountered so far in audiobooks; and Sean does a fantastic job bringing this woman to life in all her glory. Sean also has a very sexy male voice for Sylvie’s ex husband. I would not want to tango with this woman! Book was just the right length.

The Passion Was Definitely Rekindled!!!

Come through Sylvie and Oscar with the mature black love! I love me some Sylvie and Oscar! And, that's saying a lot for me because I couldn't stand her in book one. As with all characters, Sylvie has a backstory and we get to understand why she is the way she is. Oscar is that dude though. He does not put up with Sylvie's shyt and has no problem gathering her all the way together. He definitely brought out her softer side. These two were perfect for one another and I'm glad they found their way back together.
