The only thing worse than running into my grumpy ex? Having to choose between living with him and living in my car.

When I move back to my ex's small town, I want to avoid him at all costs. JD didn't just break my heart ten years ago. He ran it over, then backed over it again.

So naturally, I end up as his physical therapist. And to rub salt in the wound, he finds out I'm living out of my car and demands I move into his spare room.

Yeah, he's as bossy as ever. He still acts like he's allergic to laughter. But he also pampers me after a long night out, remembers my favorite lunch...and insists on making it for me when I forget to eat.

The more he grumpily dotes on me, the more I remember how good the two of us used to be and how he touches me as no one else can.

But he already crushed my heart once. I won't give him a second chance to do it again.

Understood the Assignment

sometimes the third book in a series just doesn’t match the rest of the books in the series. This was well done and very unexpected story!

Loved Everything!

Loved this book from beginning to end. my favorite one so far. I loved that they worked through their past and the things that were keeping them from their future together. I also loved the way they communicated and took care of each other.

This 3rd installment of the Stryker family series was absolutely awesome! wonderful exploration of family dynamics with fantastic sizzle between the MCs. hoping for another story with Ash 🤞💞

Rooting for JD and Katrina!!!!

I am so glad I caught interest in the book series and read in order because it definitely made more sense on the character dynamic with everyone included in this story from the previous books. JD and Katrina’s communication was refreshing and straightforward which was wonderful, but babyyyy those sex scenes had my imagination running wild!!! I was so anxious for this pre-order and it did not disappoint, especially plot twist after plot twist! As always thank you to the author, and especially the dynamic duo of voiceovers, I could listen to you guys all day!!

The narrators were perfect. JD’s story ended up being my favorite of the brothers. JD has a heart after all. I love his protective nature and lack of unnecessary drama. I hope we get Ash’s story next.
