Great book!

I really like this book. The storyline is very realistic, besides the zombie part. LOL. Love the characters and think Alex and I could be really good friends!

Like that the book was not over detailed about the surroundings or getting all crazy with the bery dark side of what humans do during a crisis

This is my favorite prepper series

I fell in love with Alex and her family starting with this book. Cannot recommend this series enough!

spontaneous purchase that I ate up

I got this on a whim because I had a long road trip I was already started on when my planned book ended. so I just clicked what showed as "you may like". yes, it's a zombie apocalypse. yes, there are good and bad humans. but the story is engaging and the characters are both easy to love and easy to dislike. I enjoyed it and will get the next in the series.

It’s zombies

It’ss everything you want in a zombie book. There are tons of worse books. The author has some quirks but the book is exactly what you’re signing up for content-wise. Given how crappy a lot of zombie books are, it’s refreshing to get something expected.
