Specific topics include the 1933 Banking Crisis, Government and Capitalism, the Works Relief Program and Social Security, Farmers and Laborers, Court-Packing, the 1938 Recession, Purging the Democratic Party, the European War, the Greer the Declaration of War, Inflation and Food , the Home Front, the 1943 Coal Crisis, the Fall of Mussolini, the Armistice in Italy, the 1944 Fall of Rome, the Fifth War Loan Drive, and Yalta.
