Quite Contrary

A little girl gets permission to go to the park alone. She manages to make a strange new friend days before she goes missing. Her parents can't find her, the searches for her come up empty handed. Will they be able to find Mary before something happens to her? Are the family secrets worth the safety of their daughter, or will Tom and Karen reveal the details about a rainy night that happened years ago?

Beautiful Read

Wonderful short story was able to invest in the characters and I enjoyed the plot of the story. Took an unexpected turn and I wanted more. Would recommend this book.

An okay read

The phrasing and the narrator had me almost DNF this book. Overall just okay, needs some editing

Good Story

I enjoyed this short story and the twists toward the end. I struggled a bit with the believability of the inner dialogue of the 7 year old character as her thoughts and actions seemed more mature than a 7 year old would be. In any event, this story kept my attention and had a satisfying conclusion.
