Where does Raylan rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Up at the top. I am a fan of the TV show Justified, which is based off of Elmore Leonard's characters. in a previous book. The narrator is what made it a perfect match to the mountain folk Elmore was writing about.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked them all for different reasons, one wa because they were so stupid, or so evil, or just believable. Each one had a richness that made the story a great read.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the beginning with the kidney stealing scam.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was sad when it was over, wished it kept going. I'll have to wait for the next season of Justified to continue following the characters.

It's great to hear a well written story that is read to perfection.

no, but I saw him play Sherk on Broadway

Great, but not as good as Justified

I liked it, but the show is actually better. I'm the books Raylan is an inconsistent character.

E Leonard - A Classic

This is part of the Raylan series, which is classic Elmore Leonard.

Brian D'Arcy James does a solid job narrating.

I recommend this story.

Great book

Leonard’s stories are always complicated enough that I rewind if I fall asleep. I don’t want to miss a word. Great characters and dialogue. Narrator was good enough for me.
