Everything happens for a reason.

When the entire town turns against Mark after his mother’s untimely death, he prepares to leave everything behind when he randomly meets Shelly, an enigmatic woman with secrets of her own. As their relationship grows Mark struggles to distance himself from the memories of his mother and the role he played in her death.

A short, but really good book!

It isn’t bad enough that Mark just lost his mom, but the whole town blames him everyone from old ladies to even little boys. One even wanted him to help kill his mom. He wants to escape the town and start now but then we meet Shelly. I didn’t like Shelly but that’s all I will say about her. This is a great book and keeps you on the edge do you say especially because at first they do not tell you how his mom died. I really enjoyed it it was short but very entertaining.

What a chain of events

This book had an incredible story and really showed How losses can turn into a Nightmare. How a town can judge a person without knowing the whole story. I enjoyed this book. I highly recommend this book. I received this Audiobook for my honest review
