A Great Read

This story makes the reader contemplate life’s journey and the choices we make. I am not an emotional person but this book hit every emotion I have and more. The writing was superb and engaging. Loved it and recommend highly.

It was all the things!

Such a well crafted story (performed beautifully)! Deep love of family - messy and all. Complex relationships, loss, grief and working through. Relatable characters: strong women across the board (even when unlikable). Good men are there, too, but not to rescue.

Beautifully written

This book was beautifully written and incredibly heartfelt. You could feel the emotion from the characters, especially in the way the narrator brought them to life. This story caused me to pause and reflect on my own life, the relationships that I have, and the loved ones I have lost. I loved the way the author tied in recipes as a way to bring back memories for the characters as well. The narration was powerful and brought out so many emotions. Truly a beautiful story that will resonate with so many.
