What to do with an android who won’t stay dead?

The technicians at Robotics International assumed that Marianne would revert to Adrienne model number 86 after the wiping process was over. Pamela thought if she could get Dick’s hand into the wiper’s interface that he would go back to being Andy model zero-zero-nine. Wrong both times. Now each of them has proven that it takes more than a wiping to keep a good android down.

Resurrexit is a story of light and hope. But who gets to be hopeful and on whom does the light shine?

The clients of Robotics International say they want their androids, their sexbots, to be lifelike. What happens when the thrill is gone but the Andy or the Adrienne wants their life to continue?
