Quality historical narrative fiction

Well written adventure novel about a young man coming of age during the period of early western expansion in America.

I think the integrity of the main character

I love his description of all the areas he goes through the rivers the boats I just can visualize it in my head and I feel like I’m there. I’ve read a lot of his books and I’ve liked everyone of them.

Incredibly narrated

Great story narrated very well. Every character distinct & recognizable with believable accents. I enjoy maritime stories & this gave a rare look into early American river travel.
