May be my favorite Wedding Date book yet

I love Jasmine Guillory’s writing. Her lead characters are strong, independent women who are down to earth and very relatable. I love that the book is written from both main character’s perspectives with all the same insecurities and mental dialogue we all have when starting a new relationship. This story with the more mature point of view really hit home for me and was so sweet. Great read!

great read.. now i got to see the movie...

at first i was confused about the characters and how they all fit in.. but i finally got it all and i really enjoyed all three books..

Witty, fun romance with flair

I guess when I got this title I missed that it had diverse characters. These characters were so relatable especially since I grew up in Northern California. The "meet cute" set-up, the boy/girl of a certain age, their conflicts and resolutions, the royals thrown in for fun. it all worked.

The downside for me was that the narrator's British accents weren't good and distracted from the wonderful story. Getting the accents right is so integral to having the full story-telling experience especially given the story's locale. My hope is that the narrator learns how to better manage accents in her future projects.

Usual great narrator, BAD British accent

I normally like these books narrated by Janina Edwards. However the narration really pulled me out of it with a TERRIBLE British accent.

Love the trip abroad

This is the fourth book in the Wedding Date series but could definitely be read as a stand-alone.  (But do yourself a favor and read all the stories.).  Maddie (from book 3) gets the opportunity to style the Duchess for Christmas week and takes her mom with her for a much needed vacation.  Vivian is thrilled to accompany her daughter on this once in a lifetime trip.  She never expects to fall for a vacation romance.  This story blends princess fantasies, with real single-mom  coping techniques, and mid-life career complications to romance. 

Jasmine Guillory can mix humor and romance in such a fun and engaging way.  She is a automatic buy author for me now.
