I’ve found another author to read!

The only thing I knew about this book before diving into it was that it was a why choose, mafia romance, to which I said “SIGN ME UP!” No, but seriously, I love mafia romance and why choose so I knew that I had to check this book out. Add in that the audio is a duet narration and I was feral to get my hands on it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book even if I wanted to shake Cora sometimes. Like I understand why she kept quiet but at the same time I found myself yelling at my phone multiple times as I was listening because I just wanted her to open her mouth and tell the guys what was going on. Now, the guys, I 100% adored each and every one of them for different reasons. I love how each of them were with her and that they protected her without coddling her.

The audio for this was phenomenal. As I’ve already said it’s duet narration and the narrators, Vanessa Moyes and Jacob Morgan, totally knocked it out of the park. Vanessa was totally believable as Cora and really brought the character to life. Jacob as Alec, Miller, and Silver was just so good. He was able to differentiate between each of the characters so that I always knew which guy it was that was speaking. If you’re going to read this book and you enjoy audiobooks, then I totally recommend this audio as the way to go.

This book was such a fun read. I really enjoyed the flow of the story. It is your topical reverse harem. I love these types of books, because the men are so accepting of their girl. There is an older gentleman, Silver, a stalker billionaire, Miller and the Golden retriever lover boy Alec. The main Female, Cora. There is some story building in the beginning, which helps the story overall. I really enjoyed this story overall.

Narrators:

Jacob Morgan- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really love this narrator. He is really good at portraying emotions with his voice. All the books I've listened to, that he has narrated have been great.

Vanessa Moyen- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this narrator was amazing. I liked the cadence of her voice. I felt like I was a part of her story (which is a mixture of a great story and a narrator who does the book justice).

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
I should preface my rating by letting you know that I read A LOT of Dark, unhinged, demented type of romances, so what I view as 3 hot tamales is not the same as what others view. With that being said the spice is there. There was a scene that floored me, taking a direction I didn't see coming (seriously, this is the first book I've read to have had this specific thing). Honestly, the spice is good.

Review: This story is a why choose romance with one female and 3 man no mm. This story starts with Alec, Silver, Miller as the MMC and Cora is the FMC. This story is emotional and amazing. I love the way the author wrote about these characters and the depth of them. Cora is a strong minded character. It has a lot of building the characters in it. Which I really enjoyed but I did have a hard time with the length of this story that’s is why it’s a 4 star rating. There was alot of tension and spicy. That being said I do recommend listening to this story.

A wonderful duet, check the TW, but if you can handle it it’s so worth it. It is definitely a dark book but it’ll have you swooning and smiling
