West Berlin, 1979. Helen Abell oversees the CIA's network of safe houses, rare havens amidst the dangerous milieu of a city in the grips of the Cold War. I liked this book by Dan Fesperman and his narration was also good. This is the second book I have by Dan Fesperman, I find his characters and plots both well developed and credible. His writing style keeps me interested and entertained, while not making anything obvious or transparent along the way. I put this one in the top tier of my library and look forward to his next effort.
