Sassy

Sassy has always dreamed of opening a bakery. When a shop vacancy opens, she’s stung that the owner refuses to rent to women. When she tries to have a male family member rent, the owner still refuses.

It appears there are a lot of men in town who believe a woman’s place is in the home, cooking and raising their children. Sassy dreams of a family while owning a bakery, and does not want to sacrifice one dream for the other.

While trying to figure out what to do, somehow Sassy gets tangled up with a robbery suspect. Will the Pinkerton Agent who just arrived to capture him be able to both protect her, and accept Sassy for who she wants to be—a successful business owner and future wife? Or will this town hold nothing but heartbreak for her?
