Saying Goodbye

Losing a parent is painful. Watching them go through a heart-wrenching disease and then watching as they take their last breath is forever life-altering.

Lou Gehrig's disease and rare genetic small cell cancer are vicious and deadly diseases. There are many other diseases like this or as vicious. This story tells of my experience with losing both of my parents to these two particular diseases and my mind's state after watching both of my parents take their last breaths.
