Scout and Ellie: The Beauty Pageant is written for an audience of seven- to nine-year-olds who like to laugh. It is the silly antics of an elephant who acts like a human with the attitude of a spoiled, fun-filled child. She lives in her own house in Scout's back yard. In this episode, Scout is coaxed into helping her try to win a beauty pageant. The scenes can get crazy and may cause children to laugh out loud!

These books are always so much fun!

My daughter loves getting to listen to these stories before bed. They're all great and this one is no exception. The antics and silly situations make the story just as fun for me to listen to as my daughter and its become something we really enjoy doing together.

Cute children's story.

I listened to this with my almost 3 year old daughter. She laughed at some parts. It held her attention for longer than I thought it would given her age. She loves books and this one is cute. I look forward to hearing and reading more by this author. The Narration was good and enjoyable. I would recommend this audio book to other children.
