A Pastor Clarissa Abbot Mystery

Twenty-seven-year-old Clarissa Abbot is a minister who has just gotten her first full-time position as pastor at Shore Side Community Church in Shore Side, New Jersey. When a member of her congregation dies in the hospital under suspicious circumstances before he can pass along information about a mysterious event in the past, Clarissa feels guilty because she couldn't convince the man to confide in her before his death. So she begins an investigation to uncover his secret. This soon leads back to an unsolved murder that took place in Shore Side over fifty years ago, and Clarissa discovers that being a minister is more complicated-and dangerous- than she ever expected.
