Loved the book in general could have been way better

The epilogue was absolutely disgusting 1st the kingdom name like could have been way better was like he was just throwing something in for shits.
2nd the whole grace stuff is so gross like a grown ass adult dating a child gross like ruined the ending for me.
Then last but not least the ending like have a epic battle potential start then say nope the book is over and nothing else will happen we won’t know if anything cool was going to happen because the series ended like what!!! Come on next time just end it before the epilogue!!!! Just saying was dog trash at the end.

I guess it works

Not a fan of Grace in this book… just a filler or fluff piece. She was written as what seemed more an entitled child who is surprised when people call her on her BS. Petulant and brazen are two descriptors that come to mind. Could have done without her and been fine .

Been ten toes down since the beginning

Way not to write yourself out of a story lol!

No need for cliff hangers or anything like that, this give a proper conclusion as well as possibilities. This has series has been one of my favorites since I started my AudioBook journey. I would love to see Roy go one on one with Morgan for some training or access some new form of power.

Good ending

Got better around the end though I enjoyed the parts with Morgan than the ones without

good overall, not the strongest in the series but still pretty good!

it was a good end to an arc, but... what on earth was with grace this book? her decisions, especially at the end, made no sense at all. and I wonder just why the whole "every woman is head over heels for morgan" trope is still going on, with no payoff or anything of the sort. women either figure it out that they have no chance or something happens, if they have no chance stop mentioning it.
