As Josephine navigates the steep curvy road to her new mural project, she discovers a Guatemalan refugee who has just witnessed a murder. From her hiding place, Inez saw her boss being murdered. Josephine keeps Inez hidden away in her own home as she searches for clues, hoping she can find the murderer before he finds Inez. The searching involves a wild boat ride to Santa Barbara followed by another trip that might very well be Josephine's last boat ride ever!
