Siddhartha

In Siddhartha, Herman Hesse conveys a very profound message for all those who seek meaning in their lives. Though set in India, the concerns of Siddhartha are universal, expressing Hesse's general interest in the conflict between mind, body, and spirit. It is a story of a Brahmin boy who follows his heart and ventures out into the world to experience life as a pious Brahmin, a Samana, a rich merchant, a lover, and ordinary ferryman to a father - each life bringing a new awakening, bringing him closer to the truth until he is finally one with Buddha.

Very Nice story

It helps to understand many of the principles we hear on buddhism and spirituality. Easy and short.

Great piece. Excellent narration

This is this is how audiobooks are supposed to be. Really enjoyed this audiobook version of Siddhartha.

Outstanding audiobook (author+narrator)

Story's reviews are available in many resources, so I'll focus on the narrator. He has a really soothing voice and an excellent command of it. The toning, emphasizing and volume changes per context were all in place and outstanding. I hope I can get more books he has read.

With every single word having much meaning, this little book is some of the most inspiring I read.
