Wonderful read

I listen to 5-8 books weekly and totally fell into this book during the first chapter. I was concerned it was more of a YA story. Rayne is 19 but I didn’t get any childish vibe though she is inexperienced. The premise of consciously entering and controlling your own ‘skin’ was unique and interesting with a background story of the government’s plan to use the skins for war. Very interesting stuff. Chloe Cannon was an amazing narrator for this series. Can’t wait for the second installment!

Well written!

Interesting and well written dystopian sci fi. If you enjoy Altered Carbon and Avatar you will likely enjoy it. However, the FMC gets very annoying and her morals and intelligence questionable. But when you remember the character is only 19 it is tolerable. Excellent narration!
