Excellent book for those interested in self sufficiency, sustainability, personal responsibility and independence. A recognition that those things don't conflict with caring for our environment, these things work hand in hand. Must read!

I liked the was he put so much information together. This is a lot to take in.

A must read for anyone that cares about the planet and the future of food.

Concrete, actionable policy suggestions accompanied by a perceptive and acerbic critique of the state of aloof policy that does more harm than good all the while ignoring the most obvious solution.

Klar does a fantastic job of not just laying out the challenges we face with modern agriculture, but he lays out a clear, realistic and workable path to regain control of ag policy and an effort to engage in restorative agriculture.
