So Far…

For more than twenty years, Kelsey Grammer played the brilliant but fussy psychiatrist Frasier Crane, first on Cheers, then on the wildly successful spinoff, Frasier. During those two decades, Grammer received 17 Emmy nominations, winning four as the psychiatrist-turned-radio host and another one for providing the voice of Sideshow Bob on yet another television classic, The Simpsons.

In So Far…, Grammer recounts his life and career in a frank and moving autobiography, covering his tragic family life—the murder of his father and sister and the deaths of his two half-brothers—as well as addictions to alcohol and drugs, that became public. And of course, Grammer discusses his association with three of the most beloved series of all time.

How spiritual is was, and I loved the way he always knew that he was going to be a star.

His confidence in his ability to act, and his willingness to express his doubts about who he was as a person. The way he finally looked at himself as being capable of finding the right woman in his life. We’re he didn't need to be in a relationship with anyone that was toxic and abusive. Also, he is a lot like the characters he performed on cheers, and Frazier.

Insightful, intimate, and honest

Having been a fan of Frasier, and Kelsey, it’s an insightful, intimate, and honest autobiography; and the fact that it’s read by Kelsey is absolutely delightful!

Joy to listen

Interesting story, love his voice and nothing like an actor to perform it! Just wished it was a longer story.
