Lord, there is so much going on in this book! Enjoying the building dynamic and each of the distinct personalities. Continuing on !

Intriguing 2nd story

I was unsure about this series towards the beginning. If it had been produced in duet narration, I would like it more. I’m getting used to the dual audio now though. The story itself feels a little wonky. Things happening that I feel are unrealistic to how someone might actually react. However, it’s not terrible and I will finish listening to the series, at least to get a full picture of the story.

Oh my gosh!!! This series is so good! I'm so engrossed in it! I love Hunter and her boys! Hunter's mom is terrible I cannot stand her!

Love this Series!

The audio for the first was great, & this one was even better with the introduction of man number 3, Spence/Kabir! This one is full of the same intense emotions that the first is, and these narrators did a great job once again bringing those out! The dynamics that play out between them all are so well done, it was a great listening experience!

I loved how this one just keeps developing, and how we got to see more of the years that Hunter spent away from home, & how she came to know & love Spence. The way that they developed, and how he cared for her in crisis (that whole explanation & time was done so well!) was so good! Also, I love how he came into Greedy & Levi's dynamic like a dang wrecking ball haha!

FYI: I still HATE Hunter's mother, and I just want to rip the rose colored glasses off Greedy's dad's eyes.

This one ends on another cliffhanger, and I am SO READY for the next installment!

Too much trauma

I’m familiar with depression and dissociation and I don’t mind hearing it on a book….but honestly…I don’t think I needed 2 books of it. I had to fast forward through a lot of book 2. Hopefully book 3 is better.
