Mae Edwards grew up in Houston, Texas. She was number six of seven children. Her faith sustained her through many hardships that would have caused many others to give up. She never met a stranger or let negativity around her keep her down. Her family was split up at age three. This is the story of how her faith helped her to cope with what life dealt her: a series of nightmarish events that would have kept an otherwise weak person down.
