He is still my favorite author but this book isn't my favorite in the series.

Great addition to the series!

Story and writing did justice to the much loved characters. Artful narration put this over the top.

how it expanded the River's universe and characters

Aaronovitch putting Abagail on an equal footing with Peter as the lead Character. The setting was so different than that of London

Skipping the girl parts, wastes some of the book

Unlike the main storyline with Peter, there are chapters about a side character that I and many others don’t care about. It doesn’t matter it you just skip them. She isn’t important and annoying.

Brilliant

The best one yet! Worth the wait & the travel was great. I love the journey with the Rivers of London. I love the dual narration, I love the deep characters, I love the Scottish lore & extended characters., families. The geography and jumping between worlds & countries it’s just masterful written. Such a treat I listened twice and discovered so much detail I missed on the first go I I immediately listened again. It’s like spending a great adventure with friends. Please don’t make us wait so long for the next release. Thank you Ben !
