Definitely got a younger generation. No treasures he know hidden somewhere to power up. No extra boosts or over powered. It was ok but I think I will end here.

Really basic writing but nothing bad here

To be honest the only reason this holds at 3 stars overall is the love shown to columbo ...

It's not poorly written but the plot points and dialogue all throughout are really sophomoric. It seems like it's written for (and possibly by) a high schooler early on and with not much experience.

I would say target audience would be young adult to adult.
I got this book while waiting for a book from one of the other series I am listening to not expecting much. I ended up listening non-stop. The beginning is abrupt and doesn't explain much but is short and the book really starts on chapter two.
MC has character and while he doesn't develop much, probably because he would have done that previous to this book but it works. Stuff happens easily for him but the author hints of a guiding power so it works. The systems are explained generally not getting into the weeds.
The atmosphere and world building isn't overly complicated.
Good chapter use and cliff hanger.

Didn’t like the narrators voice, way too serious

This novel is about an S rank hunter/hero who dies and turns in to an idiot naive MC who seems to not know very much even though he was one of the strongest and then is a goody goody. Disappointed with how they made an end game character who should be extremely knowledge basically just a little more knowledgeable idiot who sacrifices himself at every turn for no reason

Interesting Story, Great Narrator

The story seems to overlap with a few that I've come across. Interesting thought process with a great narrator to help envision the story.
