Only Riley hears what the animals say. They’re warning her about murder.

After a sudden job loss, Riley and her very good boy, Toby, return to her hometown to work at a new vet clinic, hoping for a fresh start and a quiet life. But peace is short-lived. A local murder shocks the town, and Riley’s strange but reliable gift tugs at her. The animals know more than anyone suspects, and so does Riley.

As one murder follows another, she discovers her unique connection with the seemingly unrelated deaths can lead her to expose the murderer’s scheme. When she gets too close, the desperate killer escalates his attempts to silence her. Riley intends to escape death.

AI narration poor

The story was juvenile. The AI narration definitely interfered with the story telling as the inflection and cadence of the voice were off and pretty boring.

Cutesy story but the AI narration is irritating to me. Constantly missing the needed inflections for it to make sense.
