Zed is dead. I watched him die in my arms.

But I refuse to let this be the end. My father has the power to bring him back. And if he refuses to, I’ll go into the pit of souls and get him out myself.

I’m warned that if I do this, that he won’t be the same. That there's no guarantee that what I pull out of the pit will be my Zed.

I’m too stricken with grief to care. Zed would move heaven and hell to get to me, and I plan on doing the same thing.

If Zed doesn’t remember me and the love we shared, I’ll make him. I’m going to do everything in my power to get my mate back. Even if it kills me.
