Being a target turns explosive when Joan's office is in one of the many historic buildings bombed in Chappelle County.

Mutual Aide includes her lifelong friends. And their wives who come to take care of her. Realizing her life is crashing down around her; Joan sells and returns home but this doesn't stop the chaos, becoming her life.

What can possibly come from the smoke and debris? The life she made for herself while stepped back to give her best friend a happier marriage.

Writing Targeted was a joy. I wanted to give the reader/listener the feeling of a close group of friends who truly cared for each other. No matter the situation, a happy outing or horrible explosion, they were there. The support Joan gives Jason turns into a solid foundation for what finally grows out of the ashes.
