Task Force 88: The Lost Squad

Gold Squad lands on an unexplored planet, and quickly loses all communication with their command center. Black Squad is sent in to investigate, and retrieve their missing teammates. They soon discover a grim reality when they find Gold Squad's abandoned camp and several bodies of fallen soldiers. Horrified, but undeterred, Thomas rallies his team to search for any survivors and uncover what happened. But it’s not long before they discover the same terrifying threat.

As Black Squad pushes deeper into the terrain, they encounter the same monstrous creatures that attacked Gold Squad. Now, Black Squad must find any survivors, and hold off their attackers, in a desperate fight for survival. After relentless attacks, with casualties mounting, and hope dwindling, the remaining members of the squads must find a way to reach their ships to get off the planet before time runs out.

Decent

it's basically a discount Halo spartan story and at times reads like those AI stories on YouTube. Every character but Thomas is an idiot. Overall decent story, good narrator, and Marvin is still alive. Waiting for the next title in the series and maybe I'll hear more about Marvin.
