Sean, a criminal defense lawyer in Houston, represents major organized crime figures. As the attorney for a member of the Kansas City mafia, he is placed in the crosshairs of a feud within the mafia. Told from Sean’s point of view, listeners see the operation of the criminal justice system, along with the obligations and dangers of being a defense lawyer. This story reflects both the legal world and the criminal underworld.

About the Author

Michael A. Lamson has been a criminal defense lawyer for 45 years. He is a member of the Texas and Arizona bars and many other federal bars, including the United States Supreme Court.

This is a legal defense story. Sean is a defence lawyer for the mafia. You learn from his point of view the danger and the money and how everything works. I dont listen to a lot of legal lawyer books but this was really good. Craig W. Van Sickle does a great job narrating this book.
