That Was Before

Sadie Slade is reeling from the sudden death of her older brother Jeremy, who was in his first year of medical school. Sadie is struggling to live up to the overbearing expectations of her surgeon father Dr. Jeffrey Slade.

Sadie is shocked to receive an email from her brother’s old account. She believes it is a mistake or scam, until Jeremy reveals personal details about her life that only he would know. She doesn’t understand why, but realizes Jeremy is writing to her after his death.

With the help of a handsome young man from a different world, Sadie must discover who she really is and why her brother is reaching out to her from beyond his death.
