The Ant Thief

The Ant Thief is the story of Noira, the ant who wears a diamond ring and tells everyone that it is a gift from a king, for her bravery. She becomes as famous as the Great Traveller Ant.

But the fact is, Noira is a thief. One day, the bees catch Noira stealing honey from their hive. What does Noira do when she is found out?

Parents and children can use The Ant Thief to initiate discussions on good values, especially about:

• The importance of work.
• How it is wrong to steal.
• One must not lie or boast.

This is an anytime story for both boys and girls. The hand drawn illustrations are vibrant and delightful. They are easy enough to encourage children to try them out.
