Noelle is a witch and amateur matchmaker, and just the other day she saved her friend Aksel from being possessed by a mindless malice with the help of Mamoru Knight. Thanks to her disguise, though, Mamoru does not know who she is, or so she thinks.

Mamoru is stunned to realize that there is a connection between Noelle and "Hero"--the man he had teamed up with the other day to exorcise a mindless malice. Before Mamoru can confront Noelle, the professional exorcists invade her high school, and he is forced to retreat.

Shortly after, the exorcists arrest Noelle's friend, Aksel. Feeling powerless against the exorcists, Noelle fights to keep the spirits at her school safe. She needs to be on her toes, though, because one exorcist has his eyes on her, and he is determined to exorcise any potential threat.

This is the second book in the Match*Make Me a Vigilante series. It is highly recommended that all books of the series be read in order.
