The untold prequel to H.P. Lovecraft's “At the Mountains of Madness”
The perfect gift for anyone whose winter fairy tale ends in madness

What really happened before the Miskatonic expedition met its doom?

London, 1891. Detective Cyrus Li and his android partner D. Chess face their darkest case yet. What begins as a search for the missing airship captain Isolde Ravenswood leads them deep into a web of forbidden technology and ancient myths.

A trail of cryptic clues and mechanical anomalies draws the investigators from the fog-shrouded alleys of London to the eternal ice desert of Antarctica. There, where the cold freezes the breath, they encounter the wreck of the Icarus—and a secret older than humanity itself.

In the shadows of the gigantic mountains lurks not only death, but a truth that boggles the mind. Cyrus and D.Chess must realize that some doors should never be opened. And some clocks do not tick for humans.

“The Clockwork Curse” is the perfect fusion of classic steampunk adventure and cosmic horror.

This book requires so heavy editing. Aside from the repetitive errors about eye color, how many ways and how often can the weather be described as cold while gripping the steering wheel. When it came to the place where the ‘heroine’ is granted three wishes, how can she not feel like an imposter as she becomes ‘known’ for her daring ‘accomplishments’? The ‘clockwork’ beings need not have mirrored flesh and blood animals. It seemed pointless.
