The Conservatory of Hope

A Pride and Prejudice variation. Fitzwilliam Darcy finds a wrecked carriage while on his way home to his estate of Pemberley. The only survivor is a young lady who is escaping a very dark and horrifying past. Taking the name Julia Moreland, the young lady is under the protection of Mr Darcy, allowing her to recover from a brutal history of domestic abuse. Hiding Miss Moreland from her husband is the only way Darcy can protect her and the family she has been torn from for nearly three years. But will it be enough? Warning, adult situation involving domestic violence in the story.

Elizabeth severely abused

Darcy comes across Elizabeth severely injured in a carriage accident. He discovers that she was escaping from brutally abusive husband. It is terrible! He hides her from the man to keep her safe. There are many villains in addition to the husband who is now trying to track her down. They are the people who placed her in the marriage for selfish reasons to the one who revealed her location to to the husband.
It is a good story but the glitches in the Virtual Voice are aggravating.
