Christmas Eve. While the rest of London is celebrating, Private Investigator Ryan Kyd is drowning his sorrows in his local pub. On his way back to the office to crash out on the sofa, he sees a woman being mugged in the street. Not My Kind of Christmas Mystery

The snarky and smart-alecky language in this short story doesn't sit right with me. The PI's assistant seems to run the show, hiring shady characters to bring a Christmas tree to the office, then ordering her boss to pay for it. If there is a good mystery to be heard it is overshadowed by too much fluff for me to get to it. Ugh!
