The Duke Meets His Match

At 30 years of age, Susan Jennings has long been considered a spinster. Engaged throughout the book, there was not a chapter I wanted to skip, loved it

What a good story

Clean, funny,sweet, lovely. All-around great story! The narration was slightly fast, so if you want it at easy listening speed, set it to .9

I thought it might be silly-

This book was GREAT. The main characters were very grounded so although the circumstances seemed slightly silly, it was fully believable, enjoyably narrated, and I hope to listen to more books by this author.

Like the Conflict to Love

Engaging story. Only one small error in the last 15 minutes... hero says his butler was with him since he was in leading strings? That's only for girls. Boys would be in short pants. Sounded weird & editor ought to have caught it.

Stylistically it would have been nice to have a few less telling-abouts or conversation inane snippets & more action doings or compelling dialogue to move plot forward.

Yet, the characters were worth rooting for, their affection feels authentic, & the HEA is there.
