Innocent and sweet - like a hallmark movie!

This story was so sweet and adorable. I loved the holiday cheer and banter between Rose and our final duke, Max. I loved every installment in this series but Max and Rose I think were my favorite! Although this book was very innocent compared to the others in the series (there isn't even a true love scene) and although I don't mind a closed door story I do think compared with the others it felt like the sexual chemistry was missing a bit and felt a little forced. Other than that I thought this was a fun holiday romcom that I'll keep in my favorites list for the holiday season!

When you are cheated out of your revenge when your nemesis dies and he gives you half a house in his will you should know something is up. It takes the lord a few minutes to see past his own mistaken memories and learn the truth and allow himself to accept the true gift his old friend meant for him to find, love.
