The Pareto Principle, or the 80/20 Rule, is the product of the mind of Vilfredo Pareto (1848-1923). In a nutshell, it asserts that, in most situations, 80% of outcomes are the product or outcome of 20% of efforts. Author William Novak grew up in Illinois and Indiana. He enjoyably taught elementary education for thirty-one years. Once a shoeshine boy, he literally learned a great deal at the feet of many fascinating barbershop patrons. A survivor of a tornado in 1990, he now lives in Southwestern Indiana. His hobbies are theology, philosophy, politics, baseball, 60’s music, and anything nostalgic. He is the father of two daughters, both living in North Carolina.

Narrator Alan Sklar has been a freelance voice actor for over 18 years, voicing radio/TV commercials and VNRs. narrating everything from audio books and documentaries to thousands of corporate and medical video projects. He has had great success with some high profile titles like A Civil Action and Black Hawk Down. He lives in New York with his wife, former model Anita.
