Magic doesn’t lie. Witches do.

Our Coven Leader is dead...and they think I killed him. I didn’t. I would never have hurt him. I tried everything I could to save him.

But it’s their word against mine.

And with his blood staining my hands and caked in my hair, I don’t know how I’m going to get them to believe me....

Because the truth is far more unsettling...those shadow creatures knew exactly where and when to ambush us. Someone set us up to be slaughtered...and it wasn’t me.

The scariest part is...that Ouija Board tried to warn me....

Why does the accent change with internal thoughts

I really like the story. I just can't get past how everyone's inner monolog has the narrators same voice! There's a British character that has a British accent when he speaks out loud, but in his mind he is speaking like a female American chick! Disappointing it is the same with every single character. All of the characters inner voice ( no matter their gender or ethnicity) is the same female voice. It does become confusing of who is talking at times. I blame the director in this endeavor. I heard this narrator before and she does a good job. This just was a terrible call on the director's perspective.
