Zack Collins, age 16, barely settling into high school, faces his worst nightmare when a strange man at the local library gives him a typewriter. The man tells him that it will make all his dreams come true. Soon after obtaining it, all of his friends start dying in mysterious ways.

The typewriter seemingly has a mind of its own, and it types messages to Zack. Is the typewriter killing people, or is there another force outside of his imagination that is causing the death of his friends and family? Who will be next?
