Pathetic characters

This is the 2nd book I have listened to by this author. I didn't know that until after I got part way into it or I wouldn't have read it. The main character is not likeable just as in the other book. Women can't feel a baby at 12 weeks. Just not a believable story. Narration was inconsistent with the same word pronounced differently.
