The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

The story tells the story of the boy's childhood, when he would come to the tree every day, gathering leaves to weave into a crown, climbing the trunk, swinging on the swing, eating apples, and playing with the tree.

The tree felt extremely happy and satisfied because of the boy's company.

This is a story about a little boy playing by the river.

Disappointment!!!

I don’t know how often you look at your reviews, but obviously not often. The first review was five months ago and the title is still wrong. Ditto to the previous reviewers this is not about a tree. It’s about a river. Looking for the book that I was told about involving a tree and a boy not a river. I hope I am not being charged points for listening to this.

Wrong story

It is not The Giving Tree- it is some other story. I was hoping to hear The Giving Tree. Wish I could get me credit back.

Book title doesn't match the content

Though titled, "The Giving Tree," this is a summary of a completely different story, and about a named child and a river.
