It all begins when a former heart surgeon discovers The Fractured Heart—a charcoal drawing hanging on a consignment wall in a quiet coffee shop. He purchases the piece, unaware that the artist has already seen him and, in a moment of inspiration, sketched his likeness without his knowledge.

That single work of art becomes the thread God uses to weave two broken lives together. Across town, an elderly intercessor begins to pray—never knowing the names of those whose hearts she’s lifting before Heaven. Yet her obedience sets in motion a divine plan of healing, restoration, and grace.

The Heart Mender is a tender story of loss, intercession, and redemption—where God’s mercy meets two shattered souls and proves that even what’s broken can be beautifully made whole again.
