WOW! This is a great start to a wonderful series.

It starts a bit slow but boy does it pick up speed. The narration is superb and makes the story flow even better. I can’t wait for the next one. THANKS IRINA SHAPIRO!

Well paced and well developed overall. A really enjoyable and easy listen. I would continue this series.

Interesting to hear about detective efforts back in the 20s.

It includes details of the aristocratic social set.

You’ll never guess the ending

The narration just distracted me

It felt over-acted, over-emphasized, over-done to me. The story was ok, but I would have liked it better without giving the characters such excessive drama. Had this been a library book, I wouldn’t have listened past the first few minutes. Sorry, just not something I enjoy in a narration.

Great Book

Well written, well read, and the mystery was well done. I loved it. It has a strong woman character and I love how the leading man and she work out who the villain is
